Viessmann Generations Group makes donations to all established democratic parties in Germany to send a clear message against right-wing extremism, racism, and exclusion.
January 28th, 2025 – The Viessmann Generations Group has made donations to all established German democratic parties – CDU/CSU (Conservatives), SPD (Labour), Bündnis 90/Die Grünen (Greens), and FDP (Liberal Democrats). In the lead-up to the German federal elections on February 23, 2025, Viessmann has sent a clear message against right-wing extremism, racism, and exclusion.
Max Viessmann, CEO of the Viessmann Generations Group, stated: “Democracy requires conviction. As a family business, we have a responsibility to strengthen our liberal society. Our purpose of co-creating living spaces for generations to come includes a commitment to stable democratic conditions.”
At a time of increasing social polarization and the rise of populist movements, it is more important than ever to stand for clear values.
